It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jean Carlson (Burt, Iowa), born in Algona, Iowa, who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Teeter and Edna Teeter (Nordstrom); and her husband John Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Randy Carlson of West Bend, Brett, Carolyn Carlson of Algona, Pam and Chris Gugel of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Carrie, John, Ross, Alec, Mattias, Collin and Gillian; her great grandchildren, Kiwi, Raelyn, Eva, Geneva, Jeremiah, Grayson and Ella; and her siblings, Tom Teeter, Patricia Hanauer of Farmington, MN, Kevin Potratz (Lia) of Norwalk, Dale Teeter (Barb) of Algona and Barbara Ann Teeter of Whittemore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made in Mary's name to the Whittemore Library or to the Algona Community School Foundation.
