She was predeceased by: her parents, Fim Krull and Etna Krull (Siefert); her siblings, Ruth Bolie (David) of Thompson, IA, Leona Krull of Lake Crystal, MN, Fern Tiggemann (Richard) of Mesa, AZ and Louis Krull (June) of Algona, IA.; her friend Vern Koestler; and her son Neal Wichtendahl.
She is survived by: her husband Vern Koestler; her children, Lisa Blair (Greg), Brian Wichtendahl and Nancy Bleuer; her stepdaughters, Grace Krause (Will) of Elgin, IL and Wendy Sreniaski (Mark); her in-laws, Jerry Koestler (Betty), Burt, Victoria Koestler (Eldon Meyer) and June Bonderman (Tom) of Clear Lake, IA.; her grandchildren, Sara Blair, Alicia Sinha (Samir) of San Francisco, CA, Alex Bleuer (Maria), Will Leininger, Elijah, Gabriel and Isaiah Banwart of Iowa City; and her stepgrandchildren, Danny, Andrew Pietraszewski of Elgin, IL, Lucas and Lauren Sreniawski.
Memorials may be made in her memory to St. John's Lutheran Church, Burt, IA.
