Gail Person Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Person (Burt, Iowa), born in Algona, Iowa, who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow "Puggy" Pettit and Margaret "Bett" Pettit (Householder); her brothers, Jake, Beeler and Roscoe Pettit; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Preston, Betty Engelby (Carlos) and Jackie Nelson (Donald); and her nephews, Barry Preston and Donald Pettit.
She is survived by: her husband John Person; her children, Allen Person of Des Moines, Michael Person (Megan) of East Bound, WA, Teri Kathman (David) of Spencer, Gary Person of Lone Rock and Amy Bierstedt (Michael) of Fenton; her siblings, Bernard "Butch" (Margie Pettit) and Peggy Preston of Fenton; and her sister-in-law Ilene "Patti" (Kenny Krause). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
