He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Harold and Lois Herbon; his siblings, Raymond, Jerry, Everett, Donald and Darlene Schmidt; and his son-in-law Dennis McGuire (Joni Petersen).
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Herbon; and his son Howard of Mpls. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
