He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Leonard Steven and Doris Alberta Steven (Genrich) of Ann's Hospital; his brother Richard Steven; his parents-in-law, Delond and Beverly Bolte; his brothers-in-law, Paul Darnell and Robert Kiess; and his grandson Matthew Steven.
He is survived by: his wife Debra (Bolte) of Lakota; his daughters, Doris Blocker (Michael) of Fenton, IA and Mary Steven (Jacob Hatfield) of Lakota, IA; his grandchildren, Jordan, Caelum Blocker (Fenton) and Zackery Steven (Lakota); his sister Anne Kiess (Algona); and his siblings-in-law, George Bolte (Sheryl) of Wooldridge, MO, David (Janet), Gary Bolte (Cylinder), Patricia Darnell (Fenton) and Diane Steven of Rockledge, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Oakcrest Funeral Services (218 S Moore St, Algona, IA 50511). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (109 Maple St, Burt, IA 50522).
