He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Bergey; his children, Beth Crawford (Gary) of Decorah, Eugene Underbakke (Donna) of Cresco, Richard Underbakke (Joan) of Raymore, MO, Steven Underbakke (Sandra) of Burr Oak, Craig Underbakke (Bobbie Sue) of Burr Oak and Rebecca Benjegerdes (Greg) of Waukon; his grandchildren, Brad Crawford, Tricia Green (Christopher), Cade, Lyndee Underbakke, Rachael Underbakke (Jason McKenna), Jake, Gable, Kirk, Kerri Holst (Kevin), Cole, Cheyenne, Amanda Thilges (Paul), Hayden, Logan, Isabelle, Nicole Underbakke, Barrin, Alexis, Briana Underbakke (Juan Ponce Jr.) and Kiara; his great grandchildren, Brandon Underbakke (Kim), Ethan, Owen, Ayden, Isaac, Emmett, Olivia, Brooke Underbakke, Lillian, Jessica Hinkle (Chris), Bella, Rosalee, Gianna, Hannah Underbakke (Stuart Sherry), Tom Underbakke, Shelby Hisel (Jessie), Eleanor, Samantha Larkin (Sean), Jonah, Charlotte, Alaina, Trevor Brink (Sydney Hawkins), Brent Benjegerdes (Betsy), Gus, Britany Blume (Kevin), Grayson, Skylar, Emma, Archer, Brea Benjegerdes, Brynn and Brooke Langreck (Chase); his sister Shyrlee Hill (Craig) of Story City; his siblings-in-law, Donna Underbakke of Lenora, MN, Frank Sever of Tower, MN, Marlys Helwig of Farmington, MN and Gerald "Bub" Bergey (Gloria) of Harmony, MN; and his grandsons, Lars Underbakke, Brandon Underbakke, Tom Underbakke, Trevor Brink and Kevin Holst. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other close relatives.
