In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sheryn had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sheryn may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Ehlers and Russell Rechkemmer; and her brother Greg Strandberg. She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Carper and Dustin Carper (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Jaron, Tyler and Charlie; her siblings, Gary Strandberg and Beth Gilbert; her aunt Cora Ater; and her uncle James Rechkemmer.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
