She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Parks and Sarah Oplinger Parks; her husband Ken; and her siblings, Robert Parks, Nina George and Janet Stephanick.
She is survived by: her son Brian Mitchell (Anne) of Burlington, IA; her grandchildren, Amanda Burgus (Brandon) and Scott Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Parker Burgus and Brinley Burgus; and her sisters, Iona Patton (late Wendall) of Burlington, IA and Joyce Strauss of Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions for Sally are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
