He is survived by: his wife Michele Lu Balbort; his daughter Dr. Liberty Ann Balbort; his granddaughter Charlotte Michele Blankenship of Burlington; his stepgrandchildren, Gibson Blankenship and Bella Blankenship; his son Davit Erkvania of Germantown, TN; his half-brother Rev. Edward Beardsly of San Diego, CA; his cousins, Tracy Balbort of Burlington and Tim Balbort (Barb) of Burlington; and his pet Chewy.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established for the Roy L. Balbort Memorial Fund and Leopold Landscape Alliance.
