He was predeceased by: his parents, Wellington Everton and Mabel Lewis Kellogg; his brothers, William and Robert Kellogg; and his nephews, Charles, Robert and Jerry Kellogg.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Kellogg of Burlington; his children, Lowell Kellogg (Julia) of Texas and Kathrine Kanneman (Arthur) of Missouri; his granddaughter Marlys Marie Kanneman; his sister-in-law Marlene Kellogg; and his niece Jeanette Kellogg.
Dr. Kellogg was involved with the Burlington Lions, Salvation Army, Hope Haven and donated to the Des Moines County Humane Society.
