He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron B. Mansheim and Marie O. Buechel Mansheim; his children, Curtis Hallman, Matthew Hallman and Johannah Hallman; his siblings, Jean Rickelman and Tom Mansheim; and his daughter-in-law Kimberlee Mansheim.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Mansheim of Burlington; his children, Robert Mansheim, Jr. of Ft. Madison, Joe Mansheim of Ft. Madison, Edward Mansheim (Amanda) of Burlington, Julie Cook of Omaha, NE, Heidi Hallman-Brown (Tim) of Burlington and Amanda Brent (Rodney) of Gladstone, IL; his son-in-law Charles Burm of Burlington; his brothers, David Mansheim (Faye) of Parkersburg, IA and Dr. Gary Mansheim (Ruth) of Burlington; and his sisters-in-law, Liz, Maggie, Missy, Sarah and Bunny. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Memorials have been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Home Health and Hospice, Burlington Notre Dame Foundation - Teacher's Fund, Divine Mercy Parish, and Birthright.
