He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hiram "Hi" and Doris Madeline Hazen Hoxie; and his sisters, Mary Hamilton and Mabel Anne Hoxie. He is survived by: his wife Debbie (Debbie); his children, Logan Hoxie (Stephanie) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jill Harmon (Michael) of Columbia Falls, Montana; his grandsons, Mason Hoxie (Megan) of Urbandale, IA and Max Hoxie of Des Moines; his stepdaughter April Gerst of West Burlington; his stepgrandchildren, Adley Gerst and Asher Gerst of West Burlington; and his sister Linda Reeder of La Valle, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established for Bethany Lutheran Church, Special Needs Foundation of Des Moines County, and Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
