It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert M. Fleming Jr. of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fleming and Mary Fleming (Finnegan); his former wife Patricia J. Trautner (Trautner); and his brothers, John of Tampa, FL, Terry of Denver, CO and Joseph of Burlington, IA.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his sister Sheila Fleming of Evanston, IL; his children, Kevin (Cindy) of Plano, TX, Kathy Perkins (Craig) of Parker, CO, Sheila Fleming of Pittsboro, NC, Brian Fleming and K. C. Fleming (Beth) of Burlington; and his stepsons, Jeff Jochims (Margo), Chris Jochims, Greg Jochims (Shelley) and Mike Jochims. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Great River Health Foundation and Burlington Notre Dame Foundation.
