With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Burnett of Burlington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Burnett and Roberta Burnett (Campbell); and his siblings, William Burnett and Nancy Burnett. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Burnett of Fort Madison, Dianna Burnett of Burlington, Iowa and Scott Burnett (Kimberle) of Burlington, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Myranda Hadley (Mark), Victoria Burnett, Tressa Burnett, Emily Whited (Elijah), Lane Burnett, Ian Burnett, Zachary Burnett and Hunter Burnett. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in his memory for Compassus Hospice.
