He is survived by: his spouse Debora Thatcher; his daughters, Stephanie Shilling (Eric) of Rayville, MO, Stacie Havill (Cory) of Norway, IA and Susanne Crews (Sam) of Des Moines, IA.; his grandchildren, Elijah, Mikiah Shilling, Braeton, Mason, Landon Havill and Camden Crews; and his siblings, Leonard Shipley (Barb) of Burlington, Jerry Shipley of Sigourney and Loretta Mewes of Burlington.
