She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton Owens and Esther Owens (Niehaus). She is survived by: her spouse Charles Pope Jr.; her sister Tours; and her children, Randy Pope of Kalona, Debra Paulus (John) of Biggsville, Charles Pope III (Doreen) of Burlington, Raymond Pope (Fabiola) of Cimarron and Kenneth Pope (Jennifer) of Burlington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established for the Alzheimers Association and Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center.
