With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Joyce Foster of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on August 31, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marjorie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee and Laura V. Thornburg Pickle; and her grandchildren, JD Foster and Jessica Wiegard. She is survived by: her children, Clinton Daniel Foster (Julie) of Burlington, Scottie Foster of Burlington and Laurie Bawidamann (David) of Burnsville, MN; and her sisters, Karen Putnam of West Burlington and Mary Gohr of Burlington. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
