She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cozad and Nellie Cozad (Barnett); and her sister Mary. She is survived by: her siblings, William, Paul, Janice and Cecilia; her former spouse Garnett O. Herrington; her husband Gene Sharp; and her children, D. Alan Herrington of Ottumwa, Beth Cantrell (Charles) of Chesterfield, Gayla Veatch (Dan) of Ottumwa, Melody Cantrell (Russell) of Kechi, Kari Roemerman (Kent) of Ottumwa and D. Eric Herrington (Sharon) of Little Elm, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Klein Center (1307 S Gear Ave, West Burlington, IA 52601).
