She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Schneider and Margaret Bongert Schneider; her husband Ralph Norman Nelson; and her brother Jerry Schneider. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Nelson (Pam) of Burlington and Steve Nelson (Sue) of West Burlington; her grandchildren, Julie Glasgow (Tyler), Heidi Luedtke (Marc), Stacey Stevens (Jim), Carly Frankovic (Iggy), Geoffrey Nelson (Lupita) and Ruslan Nelson; and her close friend Cheryl Vickstrom. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchild; one great great-granddaughter.
A memorial has been established for Harmony Bible Church.
