With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois Wiegand (Burlington, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois left this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Schrock and Hattie Lanz Schrock; her former husband Joseph Wiegand; her husband Preceding; and her siblings, John, Bob, Edward, Jim Schrock, Alma and Anna.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo (Galen Metzger) of Burlington, Jane (Ron Schmidgall) of Burlington and Brian (Cindy) of Oakville; her sisters, Ada Banwart of Mediapolis, Dorothy Schrock, Janet Beik of Burlington and Eleanor Knobloch of Morton; and her grandchildren, Janelle Ringger, Gayla Stoecker, Tricia Zaugg, Aaron, Brad, Curt Schmidgall, Natalie Kuntz, Ashley Stoltzfus and Natasha Rivero.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church (10995 155th St, Burlington, IA 52601).
