Kathryn J. Grupy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn J. Grupy of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucile Rodabaugh and Harry Rodabaugh; her stepfather Edmund Lawlor; and her brother Terry Rodabaugh. She is survived by: her daughter Christy Grupy-Gray (Alan) of Port Byron, IL; her husband Bill Grupy of Burlington; her son Craig Grupy of Alexis, IL; her grandchildren, Brandy Grafton-Swartz, Chayla Grupy-Kurdi, Chasity Grupy, Colten Grupy and Jordan Gray; and her sisters, Diane Murphy of Omaha, Rosalyn Davis of Prescott and Connie Scott (Jim) of Omaha. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (2600 Ave I, Fort Madison, IA 52627).
