It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julie Ann Jacobs of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" McKinney and Helen Maxine McKinney (Earnest); her husband Dave; her sons, Michael Keltner and Scott Keltner; and her brother-in-law Tom Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Johnson (Greg) of Burlington, Michelle Stone (Kenny) of Wapello and Shane Keltner (Brenda) of New London; her stepdaughters, Trish Schaefer (Scott) of Morning Sun and Marcy Heckenberg (Craig) of Fort Madison; her grandchildren, Ashlee Whipple (Grant), Clay Baker (Olivia), Boe McLaughlin, Lukas McLaughlin (Danielle), Jessika Townsley (Bryan) and Victoria Keltner; and her siblings, David McKinney (Joellyn) of Wapello and Karen Johnston of Wapello. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral Home - Mediapolis (712 Main St, Mediapolis, IA 52637).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Building Bridges (City Hope Foundation) in memory of Julie.
