She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Gallagher and Frances Gallagher (Kronk); and her sisters, Doris Crist, Sandra Bonneson and Julie Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Powell (Kenny) of Wapello and John Hester, Jr. of Burlington; her grandchild Kira McGee (Randy); her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Calvo, Christopher, Nicholas, Tim and John Powell; and her sisters, Jeanie Bolander of Texas, Delores Satler of Burlington, Linda Allely of Alabama, Mary Fanning of Burlington and Susan Philpott of West Burlington. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Mediapolis (712 Main St, Mediapolis, IA 52637).
