Jean Day-Stamper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Day-Stamper of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenz H. Vahle and Florence Marie Brookhiser Vahle; her siblings, Walter R. Rehm and Emma Bruhl; and her son Chad Stamper.
She is survived by: her husband David Stamper of Burlington; her daughters, Virginia Eastin of Burlington and Lori Parcel (Jim) of Davenport, IA; her grandchildren, Drew Eastin (Katie), Adam Parcel, Astara, Aaron Stamper, Silas and Eleanor Boyer; and her great grandchild Griffin Day Eastin.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Spring Grove United Methodist Church.
