He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren G. Toops and Lois L. Gracey Toops; his brother Dennis; and his sister-in-law Betty. He is survived by: his wife Pati of Burlington; his children, Amanda Hoapili (Evan) of Melbourne, Florida, Justin Toops (Kate) of Cocoa Beach and Nathan Toops (Rachel) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Evan II, Wiliam, Madeline, Raylee, Kai, Sage, Gabriel, Josephine and Alexander; and his brother David Toops (Laura) of Ft. Myers, Florida..
