She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Johnson and Margret Rudd Johnson; and her significant other Gregory "The Commish" Darnell. She is survived by: her children, Jacob Johnson (Sara Wright), Melissa, Latisha Lewis (Tim), Danielle Johnson (Devlin Nichols) and Kia Elliott (Reggie); and her siblings, Jaqueline Parrish, Margo Harris, Suzette Parrish, Sharon Parrish, Patricia Humphery, Melva Johnson, Charlotte Clay, Tammy Lewis and Melvin Johnson.
