With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Duckstein of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Arthur Duckstein Sr. and Harriet Mae Dowell; his wife Valentina Sereda; and his great grandchild Trisslyn Marie Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Meyer of Burlington; his grandsons, Zachary Determan (Nicolle) and Grant Jones (Alyssa) of Burlington; his great grandchild Brielle Determan; and his siblings, Robert A Duckstein (Beverly), Sharon Krieger (Larry) of Mediapolis and Joella Magorian of Marion, IA..
A memorial has been established for the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City and the family also invites everyone to bring in pop/beer tabs to donate in memory of Gary.
