He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Ganka and Muriel Ganka (Patterson); and his children, Lisa Ganka, Julie Lynn Heusel and Charles W. Ganka.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Bloomer-Heinzel; his son Bradley Ganka (Bernice); his siblings, Lance Ganka (Linda), Jill Clay (Gerald) and Candice Cookes (Dan); and his stepchildren, Rick Heinzel (Robbie) and Nanette Almendinger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home (408 N Broadway St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
