She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Merringer (Lawson) and Charles Amile Merringer; her sister Marguerite Merringer; her brother-in-law Dick Teasdale; her brother Irvin (Buzz); her sister-in-law Ruby Merringer; and her daughter Karen Haxton.
She is survived by: her former husband Rex Stansberry; her daughter Connie Dianne (Bob); her sister Beverly Teasdale; and her children, Nancy Huppenbauer (Bob) and Randy Stansberry (Becky). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Sunshine Club at the Klein Center, 1307 S. Gear Ave. West Burlington, Iowa.
