He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Wegerer and Madalene Wegerer; his wife Karen Keeler; and his brother-in-law Duane Hensiek. He is survived by: his children, Erick Wegerer (Jennifer) of Vancouver and Kimberly Klein (Kevin) of Danville, Iowa; his grandchildren, Connor, Adrienne, Alex Wegerer and Kaleb Klein; and his siblings, Vernon Wegerer (Loma) of Moline, IL, Gary Wegerer (Diana) of Cunningham, KS and Vivian Hensiek of Bartlesville, OK.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in his memory for Divine Mercy Parish.
