It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Peterson of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Stewart and Verlee Stewart (Fletcher); her spouse Marshal "Pete" Peterson; her daughter Denise Russell; and her brothers, Dale and Dean Stewart.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Peterson (Annette) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Sarah O'Brien (Joe) of Iowa City, Joel Peterson (Samantha) of Hudson and Kyle Peterson (Rachel) of Burlington; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Emily O'Brien, Nora, Lena Peterson, Parker and Liv Peterson; her son-in-law Gene Russell of Coralville; and her sister Doris Howard.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wapello Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Donna's name.
