We bid farewell to David L Wiemer of Burlington, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 10, 2025 at the age of 96. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Roy and Elma Christina Wiemer (Larson); his wives, F. Evelyn Witte and Wanda; his brother Roger Wiemer; and his sister-in-law Norma.
He is survived by: his children, David A. Wiemer (Kathy) of Mound, MN, Douglas J Wiemer (Kathy) of Boulder, CO, Diana L Wiemer of Durand, IL and Daniel J Wiemer (Kimberly) of Red Wing, MN; his granddaughters, Emily Wiemer, Julia Buteyn and Paige Wiemer; his great grandchild Beckett Buteyn; his stepchildren, Mark Cornick (Karla) of Burlington, Lynn Sawyer (Tom) of Burlington, Diane Gabeline (David) of Danville and Kathryn O'Donnell (Jim) of Georgia; his stepgrandchildren, Jodi Norton, Zachary Cornick, Nicholas Cornick, Shane Sawyer, Christa Reid, Brianna McCord, Adam Gabeline, Alex Menke, Andrew Wasson and Daniel Wasson; and his brother Michael Wiemer (Shirley Wilson) of Temecula, CA. He is also survived by 21 step-great-grandchildren.
