In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dana leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Dana may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Schlag; and his brother John Frederick Schlag. He is survived by: his mother Rosalie Craigmiles Schlag Kendall; his brothers, Bill Schlag (Kathy) of Forsyth, IL, Martin Schlag of Minot, ND and Ronald Schlag (Kathy Cole) of Media, IL; his close friend Alan Klein of Orlando, FL; and his aunt Byrl Rhoads of Granite City, IL. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
