He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Corns and Jenny June Henry Corns; his daughter-in-law Mardema Corns; and his siblings, Henry, Stanley Corns, Mary Bergmeier, Shirley Danley and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carolyn; his sons, Charles "Chuck" Jr. (Lynn) of Waukee, IA, David of Montrose and Dr. Steven (Missy) of Rolla, MO; his grandchildren, Kristen Hemmings (Nathan) of Grimes, Andrea Bergdale (Brian) of Grimes, David M Corns (Stephanie), Bremerton and Hannah Quade (Nolan) of Mt. Pleasant; and his great grandchildren, Zara, Zia, Zayla Hemmings, Hunter, Nora Bergdale and Harrison Quade. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the First Church of the Nazarene.
