It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara M Fritz of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schwerin and Hazel Schwerin; her husband Rolland Fritz; and her brothers, Carl Schwerin and Warren Schwerin.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Fritz (Arlys) of Burlington, Jeffrey Fritz (Mac) of Burlington and David Fritz (Pat) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Jill Dunlop (Kevin), Jeffrah Levins (Jerimiah), Hillaurie Bonar (Travis) and Nathan Fritz (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Samuel Martin, Drake Levins (Brooklyn Pardall), Avery Levins, Ruthie Bonar, Rolland Bonar, Ava Fritz and Leopold Fritz; her great great grandchildren, Oliver Martin and Finn Martin; and her brother Donald Schwerin of Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established for the Friends of Des Moines County 4-H.
