It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annette Pollpeter of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Herman and Rose Catherine Schroeder Stenger; her daughter Karen Brzostoski; and her siblings, Edward Stenger, Genevieve Stenger, Marjorie Denning, Eileen Denning, Helen Sutcliffe and Carolynn McManis.
She is survived by: her children, Nathan Pollpeter (Darja) of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Cindy Gunter (Randy) of New Glarus, WI, Joan Stewart (Tony) of Naples, FL, Rosalie Pappas (Steve) of Greenwood, IN and Greta Mansour of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish - Ss Mary (500 W Mt Pleasant St, West Burlington, IA 52655).
