He is survived by: his wife Leota Pross; his children, Fred Buffington (Diane) of Buffalo, Martin Buffington (Lisa) of Wellford, SC, Tracy Buffington of Buffalo, David Buffington (Tom Nickel) of Omaha, Richard Buffington (Robyn), Barbara Smith (Darrell) of Durant, Paula Hammond of Blue Grass and Mickey James (Dennis Tish); his grandchild Leeanna Ellis (Brett) of Anthony; his great grandchildren, JoLee Steinecke and BeaJae Steinecke; his siblings, Leslie Buffington of Buffalo, Paul Buffington of Columbus Jct, Keith Buffington of Bethalto, IL., Virginia Barrick of Muscatine, IA. and Mildred Van Acker of Muscatine, IA.; and his sister-in-law Jonnie Rae Munding.
