We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2023, at the age of 86, Carlene Mendez of Buffalo, Iowa, born in Mediapolis, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Willet and Lela Willet (Staats); her husband Merle; her children, Sherry Mendez and Anthony Mendez; and her siblings, Ruth Heath, Helen Davis, Mary Stackfleet, Joyce Flores, Charles Willet, Glen Willet, Michael Willet and Robert Willet.
She is survived by: her brothers, Roy Willet (Annetta), David Willet (Kay), Bill Willet and Harlan Willet Jr.; her daughter-in-law Cindy Mendez; her grandchildren, Mercedes Mendez and Harold Lewis; and her great grandchild Devante Rhodes (Margo Mendoza).
