He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Richter and Mary Celeste Richter (Trenary). He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald (Alice Richter) of College Station, Texas, Darlene (Joe Joyce) of Emmetsburg and Deanna Richter of Ledyard; his nieces and nephews, Laura Richter, Charles "Ricky" Richter, Billie Jo Joyce and Patrick Joyce (Jessica); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carson Hoffman, Kylie Hoffman and Tate Joyce (Judy Johnson). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-niece, and great-nephews.
