With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Kahler (Buffalo Center, Iowa), born in Burt, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Kahler and Dorothy Kahler (Schiltz); his brothers, Benedict, Elmer and Vern Kahler (Doris); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Thomas, Lenora Kahler and Mary Kahler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gert Thomas of Yankton, SD, Rose Burmeister (Jerry) of Fort Dodge, Linda Wegner (Meryl) of Long Prairie, MN, Art Kahler of Burt and Joe Kahler of Algona; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Kahler of Urbandale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson Disease he ended up in Fort Doge.
