He is survived by: his half-brothers, Victor Darilek and George Darilek; his friend Rose Folz; his grandchildren, Jackson, Isla, Simon and Fiona; his son-in-law Rick Potter; his wife Rose; his daughter Linda (Rick); his grandsons, Jonathan Potter (Carrie), Andrew Potter (Sarah) and Ryan Potter (Katherine); his great grandchildren, Jackson Potter, Isla Potter, Simon Potter, Fiona Potter, Liam Potter, Griffin Potter and Juliette Potter; his nephew Raymond Carpenter; and also, Elenora Allerkamp, Gladys Carpenter and Doris Meyer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (215 1st St NW, Buffalo Center, IA 50424). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
