With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Ann Hofbauer of Buffalo Center, Iowa, who passed away on October 13, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blome and Anna Blome (Maass); her sister Dorothy Blome; and her former husband Edward Wirtjes. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hofbauer of Buffalo Center; her stepsons, Rick Hofbauer (Kathy) of Buffalo Center and Jay Hofbauer of Waukee, IA; her stepgrandchildren, Nik Hofbauer (Jaz), Josh Hofbauer, Christian and Elijah Hofbauer; and her great grandchildren, Kove and Ozzy Hofbauer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Buffalo Center Ambulance or the memorial of the donor's choice.
