She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wessels and Grace Wessels (Ennenga); her husband Arnold Swalve; her granddaughter Shannon Swalve; and her siblings, Jake Wessels (Geraldine) and Gretchen Boehm (Carl).
She is survived by: her children, Denny Swalve (Bonita) of Mapleton, MN, Craig Swalve (Valarie) of Garner, Randy Swalve (Connie) of Buffalo Center, Kathy Curtis of Aurelia and Ron Swalve (Laura) of Swea City; and her siblings-in-law, Patty Swalve of Arkansas and Virgil Heesch of Wilmar, MN. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
