He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauren Thompson and Goldie Thompson (Steele); and his siblings, Everett, Raymond, Howard, Harold and Dorothy Vodraska.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Burger (Dave) of Salem, OR and Curtis Thompson (Stefanie Carillo) of Northridge, CA; and his siblings, Irene Wempen of Titonka, Ruth Harringa of Buffalo Center, Eldon Thompson of Bancroft, Janice Winter (David) of Lakota, Sharon Burt (Marion) of Ledyard, Roger Thompson (Linda) of Mesa, AZ and Larry Thompson (Rita) of Lakota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
