He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Francile Retland; his children, Paul (Susan), Tom (Lenna) and Holly; his grandchildren, Blaze, Nicholas, Emma, George, Anika, Kate and William; his cousin Mary Lee Lowe; his granddaughter Rachael Honken; his parents, Harry Honken and Margaret Honken; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Rachel Retland; and also Josh.
He donated his body to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, so the student doctors and nurses can learn more about non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and dementia.
