We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2023, at the age of 73, Gary Carlson of Buffalo Center, Iowa, born in Estherville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Carlson and Doris Carlson (Gangsted); his son Chris; and his granddaughter Tiara. He is survived by: his children, Chad Carlson of Pierce, Tracie Schnell (Brian) of Graettinger and Linda Carlson of Estherville; his siblings, Duane Carlson of Louisville, Sandra Moore of Armstrong, Peggy Umscheid of Estherville and Dennis Carlson of Estherville; and his pet Peanut. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
