He is survived by: his wife Karen of Buffalo Center; his stepchildren, Keith Larson (Joan) of New Smyrna Beach, Amy Hicok (Bill) of Thornton and Angie Borst (Jeff) of Altoona; his sisters, Barbara Donkersloot (Bob) of Washington, IA and Carolyn Edgar (Jay) of Mason City; his niece Carina Degase (Jeff); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marissa and Kensley of Woodward; his nephews, Ryan Donkersloot (Tara Sloan) of Toddville and Austin Donkersloot of Washington; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Merideth (Nick), Chelsea Amundson (Ryan), Zach Borst of Des Moines, Cody Borst (Shelby) and Brayden Borst of Altoona; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Smith (Chuck) of Indianola and Deb Fardal (Dan); his nephews, Jeremy and Steven of Forest City; his pets, Snoopy and Rascal; and also, Carter, Gavin, Garret, Cohen, Corbin, Grayson of Fertile, Ryker, Cayson, Sawyer of Northwood, Lily, Zoey of Ankeny and Logan Borst (Taylor) of Cedar Falls.
