He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell West and Hilda West (Lohff); and his siblings, Judson and Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Raona Petersen of Buffalo Center; his son Greg West (Kay) of Winter Haven, FL; his grandson Joshua West (Amy); his great grandchildren, Elliott and Hailey; his grandchildren, Tyler West and Gayle Kittelson (Paul) of Bondurant; his great grandchildren, Hannah Kittelson and Noah Kittelson (Andrea); his siblings, Verna, Frances, Randall, Nadine, Ardelle, Dewey and Carole; and also, Gina McAllister (Tim) of Sparta, WI, Jacob McAllister, Lucas McAllister (Juliette), Ariana Willoughby, Soren, Gary West (Kay) of Scottsdale, AZ, Ryan West and Lauren West. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lakota, in Don's name.
