She is survived by: her children, Peter Mertz (Julie) of Ottosen, Dr. Mary Simpson of Kalamazoo, MI, David Mertz of Algona, Ann Cornicelli (Joseph) of Ann Arbor, MI, Helen Powell (Steven) of Winter Park, FL and Carol Eischeid (Mark) of Algona. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
