He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Swanson and Dorothy Swanson (Ostrander); and his sister Cindy Kirkwold. He is survived by: his wife Roz of Buffalo Center; his children, Doug Swanson (Cindy) of Minneapolis, MN, Wendy Myers (Martin) of Kansas City, MO and Brad Swanson (Megan) of Stillwater, MN; his grandchildren, Paige, Madison, Craig, Ella, Lily, Sophie and Eli; and his brothers, Duane Swanson, Brian Swanson (Kristi) and Ron Swanson (Eloise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (215 1st St NW, Buffalo Center, IA 50424). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
